About KBZ Kennels

We got our first Boerboel puppy, Scarlett, in 2021. I had done my research for several years on this breed, and what kind of Boerboel we wanted. We had an English Mastiff, Lila, that we had hoped would be able to show our new pup the ropes, and had gotten on a wait list in 2020. Unfortunately, our Lila passed away a month before we got the call that our new puppy was ready to come home. Now, we didn't know if we were ready for a new pup, but had waited so long for one that when I got the call I just couldn't say "No, I'm not ready now". Man are we glad we did! Although we were used to the quiet, laid back, lazy demeanor of the English Mastiff, we sure fell in love with the ball of energy and sass that we got in our Scarlett! She and the breeder we chose have made us fall in love with not only the breed, but with doing our part to continue the lines I had researched so diligently. Our breeding programs main goal is to not only to maintain and improve upon what the original Boerboel was bred for, but to provide loving, well tempered, balanced and healthy Boerboel puppies to new families for a lifetime of love and adventure! We are striving to improve upon the breed standard including confirmation, temperament and structure. Our pups are raised in home and are subjected to new sights, sounds and smells on a daily basis. We are hands-on from the minute they are whelped, and that continues for the rest of their time with us. You don't just get a new pup for your family, you get a  support system that will be there when you have any questions or concerns, no matter how much time has passed since taking your new pup home! The Boerboel community is amazing, and we are hoping to continue that tradition in our own venture. We can't wait to make you a part of our Boerboel family!

Our breeding program is carefully designed to ensure the health and well-being of our Boerboel puppies, and to improve upon breed standards. We conduct extensive health screenings to ensure that our puppies are free of any hereditary diseases or conditions. We also provide the dogs with the best possible care, including proper nutrition, exercise, and socialization. It is important to us to build a strong foundation from the beginning so our pups can enjoy a long and adventurous life!
